
Bill Dean ROI.
Born in North London, Bill was educated at the Latymer School and studied at Hornsey College of Art.
After National Service he entered teaching, retiring in1985 his last post being in adult education in Kent. In 1986 he started painting in oils a new venture which brought success when he was selected by Artist magazine for “Britain’s Painters 92” and in 1996 accepted for the RA Summer Exhibition, his first showing.
Elected ROI in 2011 and appointed Archivist in 2009. An entry in “Who's Who in Art “ followed.
